Talk for yourself. QS scenes were enough for me to develop an attachment for him, and the death scene caused me massive goosebumps even on the second viewing.

The Russos said it was because it only took place over 3 or 4 days, there wasn't time for it and they didn't want to undermine Nat's role in the film by making it seem as if she was there primarily as a romantic interest and not as a hero in her own right.

If it wasn't for Brutasha, I'd still have hope for a Cap/Widow pairing. They're just so great together, and it's not uncommon for people to end up together after being close friends for a long time. It's not like Cap was "friend zoned".

Alas, that ship has sailed and Widow is now tied to the Hulk. Unfortunate, because I don't really see that relationship going anywhere in the future, and I'd hate for the sappy love story to further harm the two characters in CW/IW, because it certainly did in AOU. Damn you Whedon

I wouldn't say she was tied to the Hulk exactly and I really doubt that storyline will be continued. I also don't think Widow will be linked with another Avenger anytime soon.

It might be nice (and different!) if they provide or hint at some outside love interest for Widow. Maybe this time, its a slightly nerdy non-superhero genius side character who doesn't turn into a green rage monster.

It was clearly worded as a fact instead of you personal opinion (unlike I did). It's not your fault, actually; nowadays it's so common that people doesn't make the difference between both on the Internet.

I think it was meant to be a brief flirtation, not intended to continue but its actually hard to tell as Whedon pushed it so hard to make it appear they had this deep connection to justify the story.

But it seemed to end with AoU, so the Russo's can drop it (I really hope they do). Also, after the backlash can anyone picture ScarJo being keen to continue this story - I would say it's hurt her story/fans the most. No romance for Widow in CW and an alternative can be introduced in phase 3.

well, I don't know these people private lives, but I find gossip to be very obvious: both Lizzie and Chris are the only 2 Avengers single from the entire cast in one of the blockbuster movie of the summer, so... they must be dating

other than that, if Evans is dating Lizzie, Hayley, an unknown or single, it's his thing, but gossip is gossip and either Lizzie or Hayley are both intelligent good looking women, so Evans would be really lucky guy

I think it is safe to say never to challence Hayley, at the SDCC Agent Carter and AoS went into Dubsmash war, AOS won then with an elaborate choreography and the funniest stunt by Gregg at the end, but Hayley pulled out the heavy artillery to get back at them and got Cap himself into that war.

He is in Atlanta now! and this was recorded in his trailer, considering how it looked in the interview he recorded to his friend and the pics Hayley took the other time she was there.
Besides, she said not long ago she was going back to Atlanta.... seems like she took James with her to finish the dubsmash war, now she has done it, Chris better prepare for the prank she will pull on him as a revenge for the one he did on her.
