Captain britain question..

when did cap go back to his original costume..wasn't too long ago he became a superman style hero with a cool new costume and confidence related powers.
now it seems the corps are back and caps in his old uniform..
when and how did this happen??
anyone could answer this i'd be grateful..be out of comics for a couple of months..might have well of been 10 years it changes that quick...

I'm pretty sure he's back in the old costume because whoevers drawing Secret Avengers didn't read Captain Britain and MI13 and the "Editors" didn't bother to correct him.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Rick Remender asked for him to go back to that costume. He mentioned in an interview that he thought that costume was the coolest. I'm not sure I agree with him, but I do think it's better than the MI-13 one, which was kind of plain and bland. The resurrection that created that costume was the cool part, not the costume itself, but the resurrection's coolness seems to have rubbed off onto the costume in readers' minds.

I liked the one he had in the last Excalibur. It looked like the classic one, but they ditched the stupid pirate boots and made it look more modern and s**t.

I wish they'd stick with that one..its modern and stylish.

I don't like that one because it looks too practical. It's like a special ops uniform but in the colors of the union jack. Seems more suited to a boots-on-the-ground type of character like Batman or Captain America than a guy who flies around and punches tanks through mountains.

Heh, as long as he's got Captain in his name, it works.

Even Captain Marvel looks like a magic Ottoman...........Captain or something.
