that second one is all kind sof awesome

I would say to lose the fanny pack, or whatever that thing is, and also get rid of the the smiley pin. That's Watchmen's trademark. The two strands of hair on Joker that are sticking out look like you're trying too hard to make it look anime.

Remember, just because many anime artists use the staples of manga style (spikey or crazy hair, huge muscular shoulders, massive eyes, little detail), that doesn't mean that you should follow that same format. It begins to look lifeless and cookie-cutter. It'd be great to a style that was inspired by anime but really is your own signature style. Don't feel that you have to follow a set of rules and boundries that were founded by other artists.

well I wasn't aiming for it to look like anime what so ever. The strans seemed to come out that way but thanks for that. Also fanny pack! I have never read the watchman series and just glanced over the cover so I don't know how its presented. Your comments considered.

I highly doubt an unbloodstained smiley face pin is a watchmen trademark.

I read a little bit of it not much..but I didn't see the connection between watchmen and smiley face. Felt like something Joker would do, well my version of the Joker

I didn't mean trademark as in licensed by DC for Watchmen only. I meant that it's a staple of Watchmen. The character of the Comedian wears a smiley pin and it's image is shown throughout the book. The pin is what starts the investigation that leads into the entire book.

To some fans of the book, seeing Joker wearing that would be like seeing Daredevil carrying baterangs. Sure, they fit Daredevil's character and would be useful for him, but they're already the trademark tool of Batman.

Ah didnt know the comedian wore a smiley pin well that could easily be changed
