Cast a real game-based Resident Evil movie (just for fun)

Well, go ahead. Cast a Resident Evil movie that is actually based on the game and not that god-awful Paul Anderson series.

Chris Redfield - Mark Wahlberg:

Ever since I saw The Big Hit, he just seemed perfect as Chris to me.

Jill Valentine - Sienna Guillory: If Anderson got anything right, it is Jill.

Barry Burton - Ray Winstone: Tell me this isn't Barry

Rebecca Chambers - Scout Taylor-Compton: She can play young and innocent but also competent and tough. She seems like she'd make an ideal Rebecca

Wesker - Matthew Fox: After seeing Speed Racer, he just seems perfect. He had that ideal cold, calculating manner for Wesker as Racer X. Dye his hair blonde, slap on some sunglasses and you've got Wesker.

As for Resident Evil 2:

Leon Kennedy - Matt Damon: He might be getting a bit old, but he hides his age well. He could play a rookie cop, and has the perfect look

Claire Redfield - Rachel Bilson: Perfect look for Claire and a good enough actress to pull it off.

Ada Wong - Kelly Hu: She just seems perfect for the role.

Sherry Birkin - Just any unknown child actress

Ha! The T-1000 as Albert Wesker! He'll pretty much be playing the same character!

Well, if he were back in his Batman Forever days, I would have liked to see Val Kilmer as Wesker.

But we all know what happened to him.

Though I would change my choice to Matthew Fox if not Robert Patrick.

I actually thought Sienna Guillory was spot-on casting. A shame they probably wouldn't use her in a reboot.

Eh, she didn't impress me much. She wasn't bad, it was just the dialogue I couldn't stand.

I immediatley pictured Milo Ventimiglia as Chris Redfield but Majik beat me to it. Damn you!
I also love Vincent Kartheiser, he really needs an Angel spin-off.

As for your cast, I like the Chris, Jill, Leon, Barry, and Wesker choices. The other two I don't like at all.

Why is Claire a different race than Chris?

I don't like Milo for Chris. A fine actor, but a Chris he is not.

She is only part asian, but she mostly plays white chicks and pulls it off very well in my opinion. And Matt, you should see Milo in the episode of Heroes that is set 5 years in the future. I think he completley embodies Chris in that episode. A tough as nails soldier, which he usually doesn't play so I can see why you wouldn't be able to him in the role.

Watch The Big Hit (hell, just watch the first half hour when they take out that crime lord) and tell me that isn't Chris Redfield. Besides, Wahlberg is twice the actor Milo is. If you don't believe that, watch The Departed

I have seen that episode. He is not Chris. Just my opinion. As for Kreuk, how exactly does she play "white chicks?" In every one of her roles does her character say "By the way, I'm white, not a drop of Asian blood in me!" I must've missed those performances. She doesn't play white chicks as by her very appearance all of her characters are at least PART Asian. If she is part Asian, shouldn't Chris be as well? Kreuk is a bad call for Claire.

far better choice than Ali Larter, and as cute as Rachel Bilson is, she can't act her way out of a cardboard box

as a long time OC and Smallville fan, I can say kreuk can act better than Bilson, and she better looks the part.

Either way, Wahlberg and Kreuk are terrible choices for the Redfields.
