Cast Cable in the Deadpool film.

Bruce Willis the same body size/build as Cable? Cable is clearly modelled on Ahnuld. He's a beast.

Saying that though when or if it comes to casting Cable they need to compromise on the size thing, unless they want a frickin wrestler or body builder.

My fave is still Michael Biehn. You could even have Deadpool reference his other movies.

Deadpool: The future is not set...
Cable: I know Wade.
*pulls out shotgun*
Deadpool: I like to keep this handy, for close encounters.
Cable: Okaaay...
Deadpool: Marines! We are leeeaving!!!
Cable: WTF?

Just saw this article. It's a couple weeks old so you guys have probably already seen it, but if not...

Cable creator Rob Liefeld publicly endorsed the idea of Lang playing Cable. Now, I'm not Rob's biggest fan by any means, but I see eye-to-eye with him on this one. Lang turned in one of the most badass performances of the year in Avatar. It takes a really good actor to make a character that over-the-top seem believable, and Lang pulled it off like a pro. He also had a great (though small) performance in Public Enemies.

Also, for those who aren't familiar with Lang, he originated the role (on stage) that Jack Nicholson made famous in A Few Good Men, and also appeared in a film version of Death of a Salesman with Dustin Hoffman and John Malkovich (he played Happy Loman, a role I've played on stage). Glad to see a stage veteran like Lang finally getting some mainstream recognition for an impressive career.

It should be a quick cameo. By Harrison Ford.
