Sequels Cast future characters for Spider-Man sequels

This might be a strange but daring idea. What if they use a redheaded [blackout]Emma Stone[/blackout] but keep her appearance limited to the stinger of the last movie?

Imagine the scene as follows:

Gwen Stacy dies at the hands of the Green Goblin (or some other villain) in the second movie. Cue much angsting. Peter finally comes to terms with it, is at peace with himself and is ready to move on towards the end of the (third and) final movie. Throughout the third movie (which takes place a year or two after the second), Aunt May continues to try to set Peter up with the niece of a friend in an attempt to help him move on.

Then, the stinger is when they meet for the first time (e.g. to fulfill some social obligation of Peter's in which he needs a date/+1). She rings the bell. Peter opens it, revealing a redheaded Emma Stone who smiles and greets him with the phrase, "Face it, tiger, you just hit the jackpot.".

No.

I... am speechless. lol sorry...

Lol. Though to be fair, this is a common trope used in stories to turn a tragic/bittersweet ending into a happy one.

David Tennant as Mysterio/Quentin Beck is quite an interesting choice. However, he'd need to gain a little weight. I know Quentin isn't supposed to be big (and he shouldn't be), but Tennant is a little too thin, it would look very weird having him in a suit with the bowl. I wouldn't be able to take him seriously. But his voice is perfect, just make it a little darker and menacing.

To those who suggest Sir Ben Kingsley as Vulture. He certainly has the looks. But I'm kinda fed up of him by now. I think I would love him as the Vulture but I think there are better choices out there to play this really cold villain.

To those who suggest MEW as MJ...naaaaah. She's not sexy enough at all, she's mostly cute. She doesn't have that sexy aura.

Perfect for it, in my opinion. But his involvement with TIH and TASM sequel would, no doubt, bother many in the Marvel fan base.

That is true. It would ruin the chances of TASM franchise ever becoming part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

i'll admit im still holding out hope. If only so i can pretend they happen in the same universe for as long as possible.

However, Roth is unlikely to be recast as Abomination (as is the majority of TIH cast) itd be like Ed Norton being in a ASM sequel. Even less so in the case of Roth because Abomination isn't known for being able to transform to and from Abomination and Blonsky.

Just gonna drop my two cents on my ideal castings. Going to admit it right now: I think it's partly been influenced by Game of Thrones:

Vulture: Ian Hanmore (Pyat Pree in Game of Thrones)

Kraven the Hunter: Jason Momoa (Conan the Barbarian, Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones)
Though, it would need to be tweaked a little since Momoa isn't Russian. Plus, the idea of a big game hunter running around New York feels silly.


And now, for a more out-of-the-box suggestion:

Carnage or Mysterio: Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser, Barney in How I Met Your Mother)
I have a feeling that NPH could pull off a pretty creepy Cletus Kasady/Carnage or an absolutely hammy Quentin Beck/Mysterio.

Hell no though to NPH as Carnage or Mysterio. I just can't see that. I wouldn't be able to take the villain seriously.

Indeed, especially Momoa as Kraven in those pics. He really has that menacing and scary look that someone like Josh Brolin for example doesn't. I love that fan cast!

EDIT: Now after seeing that pic of Momoa, I just can't get it out of my head! Kraven would look so badass on the big screen! Oh I still dream of Kraven's Last Hunt in a film!
