I wouldn't change anyone, IMO they're all solid actors, yes even Liv (see Lord of the Rings). Plus she's super hawt, who'd wanna get rid of her?

we haven't seen any performance so far, it's hard to tell anything but just projecting personal feeling

Liv Tyler is a great choice. I love Jennifer Connelly, but Liv Tyler can probably pull this role off.

Yes, Jennifer Connelly is hot but for all we know Liv Tyler's performance will blow (lol) Connelly's out of the water.

I'll have to go with Hurt. He is a brilliant actor but I just don't think he's right for Ross (I don't think I've ever seen him get angry in a movie!) the character as good as belongs to Sam Elliot now

I would probably go with a switch back to Jennifer Connelly. But Hurt as Ross comes in at a very close second since I think Sam Elliot did such a superb job as Ross in Ang Lee's film.
