If they rebooted the Spidey movies who would you pick to direct and who to cast?

If they do a reboot I would like to see a serious tone, and hopefully they bring the gang war storyline to the big screen.

Eh, hell, I'd make the Scorpion the villain in the first movie.

Introduce [either by name or cameo]- Eddie Brock, Doctor Conners, Otto Octavius.

Norman would fund the 'Scorpion' project in co-ordination with the Bugle.

Somewhere here, the infamous goblin formula is created. Have things pan out more or less canon to Spidey mythology.

Peter meets MJ...love blossoms....the whole shabang with Harry.

Second movie, Norman becomes the Goblin.

Maybe Octavius for the third movie.

you can't have scorpion in an origin movie because he ultimately fleshes out j.jonah jameson...

scorpion is either perfect second or third movie material

if you go with third movie, then it would tie in with potentially an alien costume (not venom) entry so spidey is now capable of destroying him but not stable.

If i were to start things off again, i would go from spidey being in college and i would kick off with a kraven/lizard first film...

a vulture and sandman returning second film (or maybe just sandman alone)

and the scorpion storyline to finish things off (if people are thinking about how spidey would get some more of the symbiote, remember it still exists in connor's lab in some shape or form).

It's a reboot casting and I'm sure they can make Hayden look a little taller. I'm taking this story back to high school.

My thoughts exactly.

The only reason I would want a Spider-Man reboot is if it was based on Ultimate Spider-Man. Otherwise, there's absolutely no point to it. The first Spider-Man movie, more or less, pretty well encapsulates Spidey's origin. Doing that again would be a waste of time and money.
