Cast the Legion of Doom!

That's a big legion. My legion would be smaller:

Lex Luthor - Michael C Hall

Solomon Grundy - Ron Perlman

Sinestro - Jeremy Irons


and probably Cheetah and Captain Cold for whom I like your casting choices.

 

Eddie Dean always has the best cast lists. Your Lex, Brainiac, Captain Cold, Black Manta, Joker, and Grodd are spot on.

Benedict Cumberbatch as Brainiac would be a good alternative to Swinton.

No, I did not select him because he was originally cast in Burton's ill-fated Superman project. I selected him because he could fill the role nicely: all he would have to would be flash a derp expression when needed and mutter grammatically incorrect statements.

As for the other choices listed I don't really see Bizarro within the tone set for this universe. What I think they should aim for are some of the Legion of Doom villains that appeared on Young Justice(R.I.P.).

I have my own list but for right now I'm just gonna give the one guy everyone knows I'd pick....Lex Luthor, Guy Pearce despite all the crap that went on in Iron Man 3, he still proved he can be that evil cold sonofa***** we all know and love

My idea would be to introduce him as not really a threat, but just a mean narcissistic business man (think Tony Stark only evil) who doesn't really care much about Superman, but something happens during his introduction that turns him towards hating Supes, end his first appearance with him losing his hair leading into a sequel where he's a full out evil mofo who's got his Apokolips Armor and goes for a full out beat down with The Man of Steel

Who is that between Parasite and Grodd in the first picture? I can't figure it out for the life of me...

Anyways, if the LoD is featured in a JL movie down the line, I want it to be huge. Especially if we're including people like Riddler and Captain Cold - though decent enough villains in their isolated stories, going up against the Justice League will require a lot more than characters like them.

For LOD to work the villains would have to be built up in the various solo films.

Interesting picks. The big one that I'd like to throw in is moving Doug Jones from Scarecrow to Brainiac. He's probably the most proven CG actor on the list and pulls the mannerisms of perfectly.

Props to Proxy for the the Michael C Hall for Lex pick too! I love it!

I actually really liked the guy in GL 2011 as Sinestro. If Ryan comes back (doubtful), I would demand that the same actor come back as Sinestro as well.
