Cast the MCU X-Men/Fantastic Four

I think when/if the X-Men are introduced, it would be a genuine 'first class' so I'd expect the casting to skew on the younger side.

What I'm kind of hoping they do with the MCU is evolve the universe in real time. They've spent 10years with Avengers characters, spend the next 10 with the FF (and some bridging characters like Doctor Strange, Spidey and Black Panther) and the the 10 after that with the X-Men (with FF characters providing the bridge). This might mean that by the time the X-Men roll around Spidey is in his 30s and Tony Stark is either dead or retired but I would prefer that to rebooting and / or recasting to keep everyone in a sort of semi-permanent age-bracket.

id prefer seeing actors in mid 20s. show O5 as an already established group of close friends. we don't need another movie ala first class.
basically the entire prequel x-men trilogy is about x-men becoming a team. they dragged it way too much and i'd rather go in medias res.

Kristen Bell is a solid choice for Sue Storm. Also like the idea of Charlie Plummer as Johnny seeing as he auditioned for Peter Parker earlier. I'd love to see Holland and Plummer hang out. I also suggesed Seth Rogen as Ben Grimm some time back and I do believe he has the voice for the Thing. As for Reed, somebody not too old. I'd probably suggest him being in his mid-to-late 40's - and he will need to have some gravitas interacting with RBJ, Evans, etc.

I'd like to see an origin movie set in the 90's focusing on the Original 5. And I too wouldn't mind an Xavier origin movie involving his early life with Cain "Juggernaut" Marko, meeting Erik, Moira along with his desire to recruit Mutants around the planet. Did the First Class movie already tread over this ground already?! I cannot remember, lol. Not sure whether Magneto needs his own movie though.

Sequels can bring the X-Men into the current MCU timeline while introducing new members like Storm, Rogue etc (and Deadpool Colossus too would be nice) now that those characters will have been well established. And Armie Hammer as Scott Summers is an awesome choice too, btw.

I dunno, I just really like the idea of waiting and progressing the universe in a more organic way as opposed to retroactively trying to shoe-horn in mutants (I'm still on the fence about Captain Marvel being set in the 90s). It would be cool if when MCU Spidey is in his 30s and is a teacher at an NY school, one of his students is Scott Summers or Bobby Drake and then they start to manifest their powers.

That would be a long ass time to wait, with Pete only being what, 16 now?
No way they wait that long to bring him in

And i personally always saw the O5 as 5-10 years older than spidey, I wouldnt like reversing that. Cyclops needs maturity, teen cyke always comes off as a whiny little wuss

Sue Storm/Invisible Woman- Blake Lively
Johnny Storm/Human Torch- Logan Lerman
Ben Grimm/The Thing- Jensen Ackles
Victor Von Doom/Dr. Doom- Matthew Goode

I'm really liking the idea of Joe Dempsie as Wolverine.

Tom Hardy or Christian Kane as the new Wolverine under the Disney/Marvel/Feige umbrella if not them then my 3rd choice for Wolverine believe it or not is Kit Harrington of Game of Thrones as Logan/Wolverine

Oh my God, no Xavier origin movies please.

The character has been explored in depth enough. Bring on the actual team ensemble.

I would want to skew younger if we're talking an original X-Men team, late teens, early twenties.

Same. They're going to be helping carry the MCU for the next 10-15 years? They're going to skew young.

Though the great thing about the X-Men is the varied ages. They can be anywhere from 15-40s from Kitty to Wolverine.

Tom Hardy is clearly the best and most obvious choice for Wolverine. He's also playing Venom which may or may not be tied to Holland's Spider-Man, which would very loosely connect his Venom to the MCU.

Right. The 'proper' first class. Teenage Scott, Jean, Bobby, Hank and Warren or bust.

Casting an X-Men Netflix series and not a movie. Because I think that would be better:
Xavier - Milo

Magneto - Zachary

okay I'm going to just stop right there. I'm not the man for the job.

Keep as much of the current cast as possible but with Ruby Rose as Mystique and somebody new as Beast and Colossus.

Madison Davenport for Shadowcat, Hunter Page-Lochard for Bishop and Emile Hirsch for Wolverine. And a new Rogue and Iceman.

Tom Hardy is my top choice for Wolverine by a lot.
Not sure how likely that is but I need it.

Kitty Pryde: Emily Browning

Mystique: Rebecca Ferguson

I wouldn’t mind Mystique if she’s actually the conniving, back stabbing, self serving piece of work from the comics and Ferguson would be perfect.
