Fan4stic - great casting choices ! I agree with most except for Emma Stone as Mystique, I think that would just be too similar to Jennifer Lawrence (who was terrible, btw). Maybe Mystique older or something.

I would prefer not to make a comment on her acting, but I agree that going for Emma Stone isn't the best option. I've been having a very similar thought. I was trying to go for a well known, but even as I was casting it I thought it might not be a fit. Thanks. Do you have any other thoughts?

honestly I switched in Jack last minute for my Johnny suggestion, but, originally the only name I could come up with to go with that cast was Efron so I am glade I changed it (went with O'Connell as he's a little younger giving more of an age gape between him and Sue)

still open to better suggests
(just throwing names out there, kinda struggled to even put together this cast)

I like the rest of those suggestions but I'm not so sure about Padalecki. I imagine Ben Grimm will probably be CGI, so you don't really need a physically large actor to play him. The gruff, working class New Yorker attitude is more important and I've never seen that from Jared.

I don't see Jared as Ben either. But whatever actor is chosen should at least be able to move like and embody the character, especially if they perform their own mocap.

Katheryn Winnick as Sue Storm. While she is older than Sue was is the comics, she still looks young enough to play her and it will be less icky if Sue was a bit older than she is in the comics when she gets with Reed.
