Simply put, Timberlake can not act. I can't believe anyone here would seriously back him in a role.

He's already proven he can act a dozen times over in comedic roles if nothing else

And please don't say "That's because I'm laughing at him not with him"

One half of "Aly and AJ" probably best known from Phil of the Future from the Disney Channel

Tyler Hoechlin for Captain Marvel Jr

Another thing about Green Arrow. If Skarsgard doesn't play the part, which he likely won't, I would make an alteration to the character that would piss off some die hard fanboys and is going to get me flamed. And that is, Ollie wouldn't be blonde or have an actual beard. I know suspension of disbelief comes with the territoy, but Ollie takes that to far. So I would have the blonde beard as part of the GA costume as a way to throw people off about Ollie being GA so he doesn't get exposed because of his brown hair.

Listen, Ollie walking around with a blonde beard and blonde hair would easily expose him as GA, no one can be that stupid, not even Lois Lane with Superman/Clark Kent.
I just had a very similar thought while I watched Smallville last night wondering if Ollie would ever grow "The Beard" on that show. While I think Ollie should remain (at least somewhat) blonde, I do agree that the beard should probably just be fake and part of the GA disguise.

As to who should play him, well, I like Alexander Skarsgård, but I don't get a Green Arrow vibe from him. I could sooner see him as Steve Rogers than Oliver Queen. Green Arrow should have a classic, dashing leading man vibe to him, imo, while still obviously being capable of being a cad. Which is why my #1 pick would currently be:

Fassbender. Great actor, charming as hell. Plus, regardless of whether they make it fake or real, we at least know he can rock the facial hair:

In his prime Elvis Presley would have made a great Captain Marvel jr.

Brand Routh - Superman
Henry Cavill - Batman
Jodi Lynn O'Keefe - Wonder Woman
Ryan Reynolds - Flash
James Marsden - Green Lantern
Josh Holloway - Aquaman
Scarlett Johansson - Black Canary

Orin/Arthur/Aquaman - Kevin McKidd
Bruce Wayne/Batman - Christian Bale
Dinah Laurel Lance/Black Canary II - Yvonne Stravhoski
Wally West/Flash III - Ryan Kwanten
oliver Queen/Green Arrow - David Wenham
Hal Jordan/Green Lantern 2814.1 - Ryan Reynolds
J'onn J'onzz, The Martian Manhunter/John Jones - Carl Lumbly (voice)
Patrick "Eel" O'Brien/Plastic Man - Will Arnett
Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman - Matthew Bomer
Diana/Wonder Woman - (IDK)

This is my revised JLA dream casting, I really don't know who I'd want to play Wonder Woman though.

He's my #1 choice for Lex Luthor, with Superman back in movement.

Sure he can grow facial hair, but the awesomeness of his acting style is better suited for Lex IMO. Check out "Hunger" He's quite intense.

He'd make a great Nolan-esque Lex.

^ He's my pick too. If I had my way it'd be him, Henry Cavill as Superman and Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Lois.

I've seen Hunger, which is how I became a fan of his, but I've also seen how light and charming he can be, too, and on the shallow end, as a red-blooded female I have to add that a face like that was meant to be a dashing superhero, so I'd still prefer him as Ollie over Lex. But I agree he'd be a great Lex, too.

Lex is supposed to be dashing as well.

Even when Fassbender plays love interest roles, there's a hint of darkness to him:

He would have been ten times better for Hal Jordan than Reynolds too, he's perfect for the role.

But he could be incredible as Lex in the reboot and really put the character on the map.

^Yep. I'd love to see a young handsome Lex who's closer to Superman's age rather than old man Lex.
