Doubt any of that will happen by this point, even the reboot has pretty much come and gone. Hopefuly this won't turn out like the Prince of Persia series where you had a very popular consecutive series of games, and later a new game in the same year of a high profile movie, only for it to completely disappear right after.

Anyway, anyone else thinks there's potential in the franchise? The idea of a classic monsters feature with a hated bloodline of vampire hunters is kinda neat imao, while old video games rarely have the best plots, i never found Castlevania's to be all that bad, always thought it had some potential.

YES. My God, I would love to see that game adapted into a movie. The visuals could be stunning, especially if they do the upside-down castle thing.

Regarding the live action adaptation, Van Helsing sort of was what a Castlevania adaptation would be like when it comes to tone and athmosphere, and i would actualy want to see more of that, but with a better script and effects.

Wasn't Van Helsing kinda goofy?

I very much like the sound of this. I could see it happening. I mean, if something like Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist was able to get off the ground, I don't see why an animated project like Castlevania can't.

It’s hard to get too excited about video game movies right now, considering Hollywood’s still-pretty-terrible track record with them, but maybe a video game TV series will have better luck. It appears Castlevania could be making its way to the small screen, from Adventure Time executive producer Fred Seibert.

I'm very intrigued to see how this project will be handled as far story and characters, especially the villains.
