Catman: 10th Anniversary

It's amazing how time flies. It was on December 25, 1998 when I got my first computer (a Compaq, yes I was one of those people) and the Internet. Now, in 24 hours (east coast time) it'll be TEN years. wow. Feels like yesterday.

I got my computer in 2003, I'm still on it.

I got you beat by a little under a year.Got an HP in 97(and even then that was a little late in the game for keeping up with the Joneses) it probably feels like yesterday because the internet hasn't changed at all.

I disagree. We went from AOL chat rooms to MySpace/Facebook. We went from ebaumsworld to YouTube. We went from porn or more porn.

So...yea...the changes may not have been huge, but there has been changes.

Well to be honest, there aren't any aspects to those sites that the internet wasn't capable of back then.The only thing that really changed was bandwidth boomed.So you're able to have sites like youtube with a gazillion funny kitten videos.
If you can tell me "You couldn't (*fill in the blank*) back in 98",.. I'm all ears.

At least thats what popped in my head about with the topic.So maybe your reasons why it feels like yesterday are different.I dont want to rain on your parade.Happy Anniversary!
