Linderman's motives are so ambiguous, yet the Magneto parallels are too obvious to be discarded.

That is the VERY first thing I thought when I heard his "plan" (or what passes for that ambiguity he was spouting)

2 Questions though...Mohinder sees Peter die...why not get the double vengence by putting a bullet in Sylar after knocking him out?? I mean seriously!

Second, is Nathan 100% with Linderman now? Ie...is he going to the dark side??? I hope not...Nate's my boy.

Linderman is going to use Miccah to rig electronic voting machines to let Nathan the creep win his election, and then manuvuer to probably let him do the same in a presidential election, since Nathan will be the "Hero of Nuke NYC day"...hmmmm kinda like a certian Mayor running for President now. He'll probably then orchestra the assination of the President and manuver Nathan to become Prez...thus Miccah shall "save" the world according to Linderman...it's all about perspective.

Who says Sylar wasn't using his hearing? He stood there for a bit and looked like he was listening. At least I thought he was.

it was different and until you can prove otherwise,

well i would say that Peter comes by powers naturally while Sylar doesn't. Peter did draw the future, but even his images weren't grotesque. Sylar, on the other hand, has painted a distorted, psychotic painting. Now it looks as if we're about to have an episode about a possible alternate future...a distorted, grotesque future. a "what if?" episode.

nuclear tests are how they first found out about EMP...it was a side effect of nukes...now they have figured out how to use nuke technology and just get the EMP without the BOOM!

If you've been visiting Hanna's website (www.samantha48616e61.com) you'll see that Linderman already had some people working on rigging the election, but with "our" help, we've turned them away. Thus, he has to use Micah since "we" were able to screw with his plans thanks to Hanna opening the voting portals.

prettu good episode....but its EXTREMELY LAME that lindermans motivation and essentially the plot of th show is a blatant rip off of watchmen! i was pretty pissed when i saw that.

I somewhat agree, but keep in mind even the Watchmen was using that plotline based on the tactics of extreme movements throughout history. Such as the Nazis (at least allegedly) burning down their own parliament building so they could blame others and therefore seize absolute power.

I thought it was a great episode, I particularly liked Sylar's version of Isaacs paintings, it was really twisted looking.

As for the story being a rip off of Watchmen, I wouldn't call it a blatant rip-off, but there are similarities and that's bound to happen from time to time. It's not like the plan used in Watchmen was a concept that Alan Moore originally came up with.
