Chapter 19 - ".07%" - Clip(s) & Discussion

Nice episode, and at least this week's cliff hanger wasn't as bad as in the past. Love Future Hiro...present Hiro...hummm...not so much...lol. Can Peter please stop bieng a wuss...dude needs to embrace his ability like a bum on some spare change! Sylar isa prick, but he doesn't spend all his time run away from his ability. I'm REALLY curios as to what ability Mama Petrilli has...gotta be a doozy.

I really want to see some more insight on this past group of "heroes".

I hear ya,lots of potential there that I hope the writers explore more next season.

I enjoyed Isaac's character and really admired that they gave him a bold and fearless death.Look at the bright side,we got some crazy ass Alex Maleev art!

Ditto, it's right up there with Lost for me. Next weeks episode will be killer. I love the Alternate future idea and I wonder if it really is alternate? Could that be where everyone is headed? I'm sure it's not, but still, something to ponder. I want to also know what Mikah (or however you spell it) has to do with saving the world?

Well, he's definitely some kinda techno path. Maybe he's supposed to build something. Something to either track, or control the people with powers. (they need to give them some kinda official name like Mutant or Meta-human or something.)

prettu good episode....but its EXTREMELY LAME that lindermans motivation and essentially the plot of th show is a blatant rip off of watchmen! i was pretty pissed when i saw that.

Well, Watchmen wasn't exactly the first to pull something like that. It's a pretty common thing.

And even if it was, so?

It would be interesting if the second season was about that past group of people that Linderman spoke of. I remember Kring said that there will be almost an entire new cast for the second season. I believe I started a thread about it.

The difference with me is,I'm actually enjoying this more than Watchmen....(awaits mobs of fanboys to retaliate in 3..2...)

Here's what I was talking about. So anything is possible:

Heroes Changes In Season 2

Tim Kring, creator of NBC's hit series Heroes, told SCI FI Wire that the upcoming second season will constitute a new volume in the multi-volume series, with new characters and an entirely new storyline. "If you remember, the opening of the pilot pronounced the episode as the beginning of Volume One," Kring said in an interview. "Volume One comes to a conclusion at the end of episode 23, and Volume Two starts with the opening of season two. And Volume Two is a different story."

Kring added: "We could have new people and new storylines and new ideas and new threats and new bad guys and new heroes. So I would prepare the audience for that idea, that it's not just a continuing serialized storyline about only these people. It's a little more the 24 model than the Lost model."

The first season of Heroes is exploring what happens when a disparate group of ordinary people discover they have extraordinary abilities and attempt to save New York from disaster.

"Heroes needs to evolve, and if we are positing an idea that this is happening all over the world to many, many people, then we get to see some of those people and see how their story fits in."

Kring also confirmed that some of the current heroes just might not survive this season, but added: "Many of your favorites will live to fight again." Heroes airs on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Well, Watchmen wasn't exactly the first to pull something like that. It's a pretty common thing.

And even if it was, so?

name a story before watchmen where the villains plot is to cause mass death and destruction in order to to bring wrold peace and order? and its not just that, the plot is essentially the EXACT same as watchmen! blow up NY to gain world sympathies to bring humanity together. its juts such a blatant and lazy unecessary rip off....and im not trying to hate on the show, i love the show....but com on! plus, this is a show that plays gratly to th comic book community, what balls it takes to blatantly rip off the plot of what all of them consider to be the greatest comic of all time.

I was up in arms when I first heard this. But then the show started revealing more and more about the history of the Petrelli fam and Linderman's super friends.

Now I'm all for it.Then again,Kring didn't say it would be ALL new cast members.

Except it's pretty clear in the previews and spoilers that there ain't no "peace" in this world if the bomb goes off, which is completely different from what Watchmen did.

Well, I didn't mean an entire new cast. He said some will live to fight again. But I would love to see one season with a past group of Heroes.

I hope Peter survives the explosion and stays. :D

maybe, maybe not. that doesnt chang the fact that they balls out ripped off the plot, despite the conclusion.

Again I say.....So?

oh please, its unecessary, unproffessional, lazy, lame, hackneyed writing. dont even pretend its not. and despite how much you love the show, like myself, dont even pretend that thats acceptable.

Cool ep. Sylar got *****ed up by Peter. Issac went out like a noble man lol. I wonder what Micah is going to do with Linderman, and I wonder if Issac really did paint the death of Sylar or if he was just lying.
