Chapter 19 - ".07%" - Clip(s) & Discussion

Hey, that books been out for going on 30 years, if you aint read it yet, that's your own fault.

Since when was 1986 30 years ago?

That is the VERY first thing I thought when I heard his "plan" (or what passes for that ambiguity he was spouting)

2 Questions though...Mohinder sees Peter die...why not get the double vengence by putting a bullet in Sylar after knocking him out?? I mean seriously!

Second, is Nathan 100% with Linderman now? Ie...is he going to the dark side??? I hope not...Nate's my boy.

question the first- That wouldn't have been smart.

question the second- according to next week he will, but all that can change.

How did HRG know that the radiation dude could make an EMP like that? Isn't there a difference between being an energy producer (radiation) and a person who can make that kind of shock wave?
I think electromagnetic energy is a form of radiation.

It looks like Ted's mutant ability is to generate electromagnetic radiation across the spectrum, meaning radio waves, light, X-rays, and higher frequencies of radiation. What we saw at the Bennett's house was Ted "burning hot" and generating high-powered radiation, along the lines of gamma rays. What he did in the previous episode was to "burn bright" and generate an intense burst of low-powered radiation, enough to knock out the power grid.

If Ted gets better at controlling his powers, hopefully we'll see him use his hand as a flashlight or something later on. That is, if he doesn't go boom.

I have a quick question of my own... in ".07%", how did Matt (Parkman) know the name of Linderman? Didn't he have something to do with the diamond guy Matt was protecting?

yeah, I he heard the name in the diamond guy's head. But in this ep, he claimed to have heard it from Eric Roberts character.

But in the previous episode Mohinder intended to kill Sylar, in revenge for Sylar killing his father. He was actually going to do it, but Sylar got loose.

And as for Watchman, it's been a long time since I read it but:
Didn't Ozymandias (or whoever the mastermind was) set things up so it looked like an alien invasion? I mean, just having a bomb go off in New York City would not be enough to unify the world. Linderman is not faking an alien invasion.

Why must they always make the lawyers/politicians the bad guys?! :csad: (except in Air Force One...HARRISON FORD FOR PREZ!!!:D)

I hope he comes to his senses...maybe Claire and Pete can help guide him, or he has a Vader-like change of heart at the last second and save the day. **crosses fingers**

Face it, lawboy, you're destined for corruption.:o

didn't he get Linderman's name from Bennet's mind when Parkman first went to primatech with Audrey? The Haitian was running mental interference but one word came through. Wasn't that word Linderman? it's been so long i really don't remember.

no that was Sylar. I think this was the first time we had any type of confirmation that Linderman has connection with Primatech.

okay...so, ratings for Heroes' return...disturbingly low...or mid. :csad: What happened...was it too long of a break? A break of Lost-lik-proportions?

I'll just come right out and say it...but even 24 seems to be doing...so so.

If these final episodes don't deliver...we're in for some dissapointing announcements.

So... Is ".07%" the name of the episode or the percentage it got on the ratings?

:oldrazz:

its already picked up for a Season2 and one episode as opposed to 1 dissapoint or 2 isnt that bad. Im sure the finale will give us our ordinary good ratings.
