ChildLess, ChildFree, and Being Fruitful

6.5 Billion people on the planet. Anyone who decides not to have children deserves much respect.

U know all of us were kids at one point...what if your parents decide not to have kids?:o

That’s a pointless argument, if my parents had decided not to have children I wouldn’t exist so therefore I wouldn’t care.

There used to be a reason to have kids.
The only motivation now is vanity.
We don't need anymore.
It's warped.
I know a girl who was very open about the fact that she wanted to have a baby because it would be so fun to dress it up in cuter clothes than the other mothers choose for their kids.
She was my friend's girlfriend and he simply told her that they ought to think about it and wait a while before having a kid and the **** told him, "If you won't impregnate me then I'll find someone who WILL!"

She dumped him.
She also routinely physically and verbally abused him.
She broke his finger and cracked his motorcycle helmet because he was 20 minutes late picking her up to go to a party.
'Cause of bad traffic.

Yeah, so now she has a kid.
I'm sure she'll make a wonderful mother.

If you want to know why the world is so ****ed up....here's why:

****ed up people have kids and **** them up.
The kids grow up into ****ed up adults, meet other ****ed up people, procreate, and, in a ****ed up way, raise more little ****ed up kids, who grow into ****ed up people.
And the cycle goes, and goes, and goes, and has spun out of control.

I think you're selfish, twisted and evil to have kids.

Wow, that's the silliest thing I've ever ready, sorry.

People, GOOD people, have kids because they yearn to love another human being unconditionally. They long to care for someone more than themselves. They have a need to feel needed. They have the desire to bring someone decent and kind into the world, so that person can make a positive difference in some way, no matter how small.

Having babies and raising children is the most BASIC of needs - not just for humans, but for all species on the planet. How can you sit here and judge, and make wild and completely unfounded generalizations about everyone?

Try having a kid, or even adopting one, and then maybe, just maybe you will understand.

"Children are smarter than any of us. Know how I know that? I don't know one child with a full time job and children."

FTW

People, for some reason, consider themselves better than animals. With that we don't give into such desires as violence. We control ourselves when we think it best to. That should be the same with reproduction. In case you haven't noticed our "basic need" is ****ing up the whole planet. If we're so smart and generally "good" we need to be responsible and hold back on bringing more all consuming mouths into this already over crowded world.

Why does a child need your DNA in order for you to feel genuine love for him or her?

and your "you can never understand why people are motivated to have children until you take the plunge yourself" is the silliest counter-arguments yet.

Of course we can speculate on why people have children. What's the difference between a childless person committed to the idea of having kids and us who are against it. Is the childless persons committed to the idea more enlightened? I doubt it. Most are sheeple doing what everyone else is doing out of basic tradition and mechanical expectation.

But this a choice..if u don't want a lil angel of your own, don't have to.

Just get snip and screw all day and all night.:cwink:

Let me just say this isn't directed at anyone in particular but, tell me. Is it wrong for me to want biological kids?

if you really take a look at it ..having children is probably the most SLEFISH thing one can do... in my eyes it takes alot fo guts to NOT have children.. i myself have not passed that test:csad:

Well then consider me selfish. All you who WERE NOT adopted: Do you think your parents made a bad decision?

So why is it some parents, and i use the term loosley here, seem to think their opinions have more gravity or are more important?

Cuz like a used car u don't know what your getting:o
What?

You don't know what you're getting with having your own kids. At least with adopting you know they're in working order with all their fingers and toes.
'Cause I want MY OWN. Know what I'm sayin'? If that makes me a bad guy, then so be it.
It doesn't make you a bad guy, but you need to realise there are too many people on the planet and having more kids only makes things worse.
