also roald dahl books.

when i was very young my dad would read the hobbit to me and attempted to have different voices for each dwarf.

My grandmother was a Head Start teacher so there were lots of books around.
I used to read Wednesday Witch often, I finally bought it on Amazon.
I loved Maurice Sendak, I bought the DVD with some of my favorites on it.
Now there's a couple of books that I can't recall. One was an African-American book about a girl with an imaginary friend, but I saw it as her having a ghost as a friend. That's how ****ed up I was.
The other was a guy that had kids, two of which were named after Harley-Davidson bikes.
Also, my grandmother had a collection of stories, I can't remember what it was called. It was a long the lines of Encyclopedia Britanica. They're would be several stories in a volume. I'd read Beowulf a lot along with Alice In Wonderland even though they both scared the **** out of me.
One of these days I'm just going to sit in the children's book section and find my youth. :csad:

I remember having book that came with a cassette about this redhead girl who made friends with a dinosaur.

Curious George. The Trumpet Of The Swain, Tucker, & some book where some kids find Merlin in a cave. Can't remember the name. Also Encyclopedia Brown.

My grandmother used to read me Edgar Allen Poe.
