It has been ruled that the deaths of Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and their son Daniel earlier today were the result of a double murder-suicide from within the home. WWE.com will have more as soon as it becomes available.

Well that sux

Not everyone is cut out to do it for over 20 years with a full fledged family.

Then you do like Chris Jericho did and quit, or retire like Mick Foley did. I just dont see him going "I cant take being on the road and away from my family anymore! I know, I'll kill them and myself! It's the only way out!"

Benoit killed his family...the fans are just going to have to realize this. You are looking at the fictional character he played, not the man himself. :o

I know if you can't handle it quit.

it had to be something deeper than that... something much deeper.

**** happens. Sad to say, but the world is weird like that. People handle things differently. People regress and people grow. And it's never the same for everyone. You may have one idea about something, just like you felt someone else might have been involved. But WWE has currently confirmed it was a double murder suicide. Things happen. It's a yucky world we live it. What can you do? :csad:

Why is everyone assuming its him. It could have easly been his wife.

It's not proven that he killed his family. All it basically stated is that a murder/suicide occured, which means one of them killed themselves and killed the son beforehand.

We'll never know. Until then it's unfair to point the finger and call Benoit a murderer.

they never said it was him, it could have been his wife

Goodness of his heart???not sure...but im pretty sure you don't do something for twenty plus years for *****s and giggles

I think it's ridiculous that one of the mods, most likely Drakon, deleted my post that you were quoting in yours.

I know exactly.

Exactly. Same s**t that happened to Phil Hartman could have gone down here...

Wow so this is official. That is horrid.

Because it's being investigated as if it was him that did, they obviously know something we didn't. The man most likely is a murderer. If it comes out his wife did it...or hell even his son, then I'll eat my words and apologize to all his fans.

Again, I am not jumping to conclusions on this at all. Wait and see.

Bryn Hartman loved her husband too. Sometimes people just snap.

Phil was going to leave her, she was drunk and on antidepressant medication.

I was searching for paper that I need for university and I came across Hartman's obit that ran in my paper the next day that I took out, it was an entire page. Still can't believe that it happened.

Now to read that Benoit himself could do something like that. That's even more unbelievable than finding out he was dead at 40 in his home in the first place. Could've it started out as an accidental death and unravelled from there? It doesn't look good if two bodies have been dead for over 24 hours and then another body isn't even dead for 12 hours.

If Benoit did kill his family it will not make me lose respect for him as a wrestler. But I don't want to believe he would go down that path at all.

It doesn't add up at all. Lance Storm, Christian, Jeff Jarrett, Arn Anderson, Flair, Triple H, Edge, Malenko, Jericho, JBL, Stephanie, Bret Hart, and Cena all knew the man personally. Yes, he may've been private and may've not had a lot of friends. But if there was something odd about him that didn't seem right I'm sure SOMEONE would've said something.

I don't care how quiet or private a person is, there is always someone who is close to that person and could tell you everything about him/her.
