and if Chris Benoit really did do it....then it will be intresting to see how the WWE handles it. think about it one of your top stars kills his family and then himself. a guy who once was "the man' in your company for a time

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't mention it again.

Breaking: Benoit Kills Family Over 3 Day Period

Sources in the Fayette County Police Department are now working under the theory that Chris Benoit killed Nancy on Saturday, son Daniel on Sunday, and then killed himself earlier today.

Benoit was found dead in his weight room. Nancy was found dead in the living room. Daniel was found dead in his bedroom, accordig t an unnamed source in the department.

Lt. Tommy Pope told ABC News "the instruments of death were located on the scene," but didn't specify what those were or where they were found. Pope said the department was not actively searching for any suspects outside the house.

So if they weren't shot or stabbed, what could these be? Is the poison theory still credible?

Now we have evidence that points to his implication. People love to come to conclusions without it. But, with that said, it only makes it worse to learn in the midst of this that the man the public adored may be the catalyst behind this.

I just wish they would reveal what these "instruments" were.

But this wasnt suicide! It was murder/suicide which makes the men the primary suspects in this situation.

In any murder case, men are always the first suspect (sad but true guys). The fact they are looking at him doing it first doesn't surprise me, and I rather expected it. This, by no means, makes him guilty of anything, yet.

like a frying pan would knock out Chirs??? If im not mistaken, in most cases of murder/suicide the males(husband or bf) are usually the one that kills and than takes his own life. But than I remember in an episode of Law and order that woman are generally passive and in situations like this, they would poison instead of guns or knives.:O

Well, I wouldn't put much faith in a Law and Order episode, though anythings possible.

The instruments do raise questions. It was reported that they werm't shot or stabbed. SO what are we looking at. Strangled. Gagged. Hopefully we can get answers soon so we can start to move on from this tragedy.

I think it would depend on the motive. if, for instance, Benoit had a problem with the state of the world today and misguidedly wanted to spare his wife and son from experiencing it then the method of killing would probably be non-violent.

True, but he was a famous, sucessful(sp) entartainer! That motive wouldnt make sense unless of course he didnt want his son to be like him, in which in his own twisted way, he saves his son from fame and fortune.

but fame and success don't necessarily equal happiness. for all we know he was clinically depressed.

as for the WWE, they've paid their tribute. maybe this will force the WWE to re-evaluate their performance schedule. Being on the road for 300 days out of the year will affect people....i do not know, my brain is going in a bunch of different ways. if he did it why if his wife did it why...did the CIA do it why lol sorry needed some levity there

Remember the injuries he's suffered the past few years. Plus, he did take a few months off last year. And there were reports shortly after Guerrero died of another wrestler being on a "Death Watch"......

Steel chair?

If Benoit did kill his family it will not make me lose respect for him as a wrestler. But I don't want to believe he would go down that path at all.

It doesn't add up at all. Lance Storm, Christian, Jeff Jarrett, Arn Anderson, Flair, Triple H, Edge, Malenko, Jericho, JBL, Stephanie, Bret Hart, and Cena all knew the man personally. Yes, he may've been private and may've not had a lot of friends. But if there was something odd about him that didn't seem right I'm sure SOMEONE would've said something.

I don't care how quiet or private a person is, there is always someone who is close to that person and could tell you everything about him/her.

No one is going to say anything like that on a TRIBUTE to Benoit. No one is going to say, "Well even though you may have killed your family.." its not going to happen. I think Regal took the best approach to that whole thing when they were filming the reactions from other wrestlers. He said that professionally he was the most determined he had ever saw and was the best at that. He said thats all he was going to say for now and left. Thats probably the closest dignified way of saying something else may have gone on while still keeping in line.

You guys got to seperate the character on tv, from the man.

I think that is the problem with most of the people that think "it just doesn't add up". When does killing your family ever add up or make sense? I guess they think that since Benoit signed something for him or met him once, hell he seems like a great guy and all, and they instantly think that he would be in no way capable of doing something like this. But you don't KNOW him.

Every time something like this happens, really no matter who did the killing, people always have the same reaction. **** like this happens. More than you think. It will never make sense why things like that happen. So stop saying that it couldn't have happened because it doesn't make sense. It should never make sense to kill your child. The guy's a monster if he did it, no matter what he did in the ring.

The first time I read what happened, it screamed murder. You just gotta forget that "hero" you worshiped and look at what happened.

and living a life to where you never get to see your family...

Got to be tough on a man. I wonder how a lot of professionals handle this. I'm sure alot more of them deal with it than they show on the surface.

Objection!

There's alot of pressure put on these wrestlers by Vince McMahon and his cronies to perform despite other obligations. Now I am not blaming Vince or WWE for what happened, that would be ridiculous, but I am saying it can take a toll on somebody. That being said, its the wrestlers own choice to live this type of life.

What's all this talk about separating the character? Do you know how many times Benoit played a heel?:o:huh:

I have a feeling the news on this is gonna get worse and worse..."50 bodies found in Chris Benoit's basement, ties to 9/11 found. Also, evidence that he was in fact tied to the Kennedy assassination, and was also Jack The Ripper"...

I think people are jumping the gun right now. We will know more in the coming days.
