Iron Man 2 Chris Evans cameo?

Don't think so. Don't think we'll get a Thor cameo either. I wouldn't mind seeing Norton or even the Hulk. Maybe Norton working as a scientist for S.H.E.I.L.D. that would be kinda cool.

I think you guys are getting your hopes up. I want to see an Avengers film with them forming. I don't want them to form with just post credit scenes.

I agree. Cap, IM, Thor and Hulk shouldn't be on screen together until Avengers. Between now and then we can get foreshadowing and subtle connections, but the actual money shot should come in Avengers.

Now that he's confirmed as Cap, any chance we could get a last minute cameo in a scene after the credits? Probably not in uniform, maybe not even a speaking part, but maybe just a glimpse of him through some kind of cryogenic chamber? Or do you think they'll save his "discovery" for the Avengers movie?

I don't really want a Cap (or THor) cameo in IM2. Cap is frozen & Thor in Asgard so both seem unnecessary. Leave their 1st glimpse for their own films. However a Bruce Banner cameo would work, especially after Stark's scene in Hulk.

Fury takes Stark to a bar where he meets three people. They introduce themselves as, Steve Rogers, Dr. Donald Blake and Dr. Bruce Banner. *CUT TO CREDITS*

After credits we hear a sound byte. Favreau: Are you fanboys happy now?

Hahaha!!

I think some people want the full Avengers movie to take place during the IM2 credits.

I had an idea about his cameo in Iron Man 2,
What if Tony Stark finds old footage of Steve Rogers during the Super Soldier experiment?

Like maybe Nick Fury calls him for a meeting, when Tony walks in nick is watchig file footage of Steve Rogers talking to the doctors (for posterity). He says things like My name is Steve Rogers, I was born.... I have volenteered for the Super Soldier Experiment....
He says something for the camera for posterity.

Tony asks what this is, and Nick tells him this is Steve Rogers. He was Captain America until he went missing during WWII.

Tony says "and?"

Nick: "We found him" as the camera stays on the footage of Steve Rogers talking and fades to black.

Or the scene from Ultimates,
at the end of Iron Man 2 we can cut to several months later...
Some scientists in an icy mountain area.
Some in one area of the mountain become extatic and call the others over. Then cut to a tent where Tony is sitting.
the scientist says, "We found him! ..."
Cut to a figure of Christ Evans in a torn up Cap costume frozen in ice as the scientist continues. "...We found Captain America!"

since the picture was locked before Chris Evans was cast, I doubt we would see him, but I guess some Cap ref. would be possible. I think a Thor ref. would be more likely... perhaps SHEILD agents finding...something....
