Documentary/Biopic Chris Hemsworth is Hulk Hogan, brother!

The reactions to his comment are amusing.

I hope this follows the Dewey Cox template.

There's no sense of nuance with these people. They see that a ****ty guy is getting a biopic and they assume it'll be a ****ing Disney movie with him as the knight in shining armor. They see an actor applauding his costar/friend landing a role and they act as though he's praising said ****ty guy. It's exhausting.

Are they going to show his awful sex tape too?

I just wonder how he is going to manage to do Hogans weird ass voice for the whole movie.

When was Hulk Hogan in the best shape?
I see CH needing to bulk up significantly in order to look the part. And Hogan's look is not much of a trim shape, not as the Thor character anyway... It's more of a big, bulky look...

Haha, this is pretty funny. Not every day freakin' Hemsworth is too short/small for the character he's playing. :oldrazz: Weird. Pretty sure Hogan's shrunk with age, but that dude was a giant.

And yeah, Chris struggles with accents on a good day, gonna be pretty funny to see his attempt at southern-drawl-Florida-Man. "Hey brotherrrrrrrr."

Wonder how they'll approach alI his contemporaries? I know jack about wrestling, but wasn't Hogan pretty close with Andre The Giant? Have no idea how they'd pull that off casting wise if they're going down that road, even that huge Indian guy that was pushed for a while in stuff like Get Smart is probably smaller than Andre.

Considering Hulk is a producer on the project I highly doubt they will put him in a negative light.

Oh my god I can't wait for this lol should be hilarious, hope it doesn't take itself too seriously.

Who we getting to play Ultimate Warrior & Macho Man?

Depends what you mean by best shape?

Early 80's Hulk had a similar build to Arnie (obviously nowhere near as defined) of that old school natural body builder.

In the early to mid 90's he was even more jacked and ripped. However it was less of a believable physique (he looked like he'd definitely had some help from the Mexican supplements)

And by the early 2000's he had loss some mass but was still in phenomenal shape considering he was nearly 50 by then (but was starting to develop a very noticeable steroid gut)

I saw someone pointing out Big Show as a possible replacement for André The Giant. That could work.

From what we know...
The biopic will not delve into those years or attempt to encompass Hogan's entire life. Instead, sources say it will focus on his rise and is described as an origin story of the Hulkster and Hulkamania.
So i'm guessing it should focus on the 80's part of his career.

With some make up and prosthetics I agree he's your best candidate for Andre. Only problem is due to all his dieting he might look a bit thin now lol.

Ray and Straight Outta Compton were dope

Ray gave Charles the traditional Hollywood happy ending of him kicking Heroin which he did do but they don't mention that after that he just substituted Heroin for gin and marijuana throughout much of the remaining years of his life.

SOC was heavily criticized for glossing over Dre's multiple alleged assaults on women (including one instance where he supposedly beat his pregnant girlfriend).

I thought they were both good films as well don't get me wrong but Hollywood's always going to either dramatize the more boring parts or gloss over parts that paint the star in a really bad light.

Just imagine Hemsworth and Evans doing this. Hilarious stuff. :D

Is David Harbour too old now to play Nacho Man Random Sandwich?

Get out of my head Hollywood!!! Like seriously, I was brainstorming one day last year on how I'd go about an Ultimate Warrior movie (not the best person ever, but he had an interesting life) and I said to myself I would totally cast Hemsworth as Hogan. Then low and behold, this happens.

GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!! :cmad:

Haha, Evans. You'd probably have to put him on stilts and in some muscle suit to play any of these guys. He's jacked as Cap, but not exactly a big guy.

It'd be funny though, both Chris's putting on silly voices and yelling at each other.

Would be a really good fit face wise just think he could be a bit tall opposite Hemsworth cause Hulk was a quite a few inches taller than Savage.

Complete the trifecta and cast Mark Ruffalo as Mean Gene Okerlund.

It is funny how back then these guys didn't care at all about getting a 6-pack. It was about getting big arms and chests.
