Yesterday I bought the best book which everyone should buy/should be a text book in public schools.

and it has the best part where it enumerates all of the contradictions in the gospels regarding Jesus' "resurrection". It's hilarious.

It also, as a support for the idea that Jesus was just a legend that grew over time, shows how, according to accepted dates, the first account of Jesus only describes 1 miracle he did, then the next one, chronologically, describes 4, then the next mentions 6, then later, the next book describes 8, etc.

I don't know about completely dismissing it as bull****, but it can get to be the word of men passing off their views as "the word of God" hence why for some people faith is personal to them and has little or nothing to do with organized groups, and why some don't choose to believe every last word exactly as it was written.
