Yes!!!!! This is without a doubt the best thing I have read concerning this franchise!!! It shows that Bale and Co. have a real interest in making another film which means there is more great story to be told. Awesome to hear this. I know he is under contract for 3 films but it's great to hear any kind of enthusiasm towards another film. This also means more than likely that Nolan will come back as well.

If TDK makes a good amount of money, even if they did go to JLA next, I don't see how they could not go back to another Nolan-Bale Batman film. But I would hate for that to be the order taken.

The studio was very happy with the script turned in and word is they are searching for a director.

WB loves the script... they want to ****e out the rest of these DC heroes... they will do whatever it takes to re-sign Bale and Routh... a JLA in the middle of all this will screw everything up... and I wouldn't be suprised if Nolan stepped down if the studio is commanding to much power and intereference. Sadly, I agree this may happen. Finally, WB has a great thing again with this current Batman franchise and I can see them totally screwing things up. This is why I don't want the JLA project happening.

Do you really think that Bale would be any other way? I've never heard of an actor saying that the film he's currently shooting sucks.
