The Dark Knight Christian Bale Says : "We Left It Wide Open".

I just want to get my hands on this script and find out what all the buzz is about.... if its a white Martian inviasion or alien visitors from space that want to take over the planet, and Batman must stop them I am gonna go nuts....

Do you know how protected that screenplay is? They would give you the Dark Knight screenplay before they let you touch the 'Justice League' script. That screenplay will never, not in a million years, leak onto the internet. Well-protected and dominate on all the other franchises.

Why? Batman's the tactician of the JLA. It'd be awesome if he designed the plan that enabled Superman and the other heavy hitters to beat some larger than life enemy.

Do you really think that Bale would be any other way? I've never heard of an actor saying that the film he's currently shooting sucks.

Don't read too much into his statement. It's just PC comments
Nathan Fillion said White Noise 2 sucked while filming it.

It was awesome.

He never had to bring up the comment about a third film though. He could have just said great this one has been.

Sadly, I agree this may happen. Finally, WB has a great thing again with this current Batman franchise and I can see them totally screwing things up. This is why I don't want the JLA project happening.

I am literally having nightmares at the thought... I know my presumptions reflect 100% pessimism but you can see this disaster brewing a mile away... it will be a sad day if this happens... I blame Singer for ****ing up SR... I know a lot of people liked the movie... but had it done well... WB may have had confidence in these other characters... if they think a JLA is a solution well I am just flabbergasted by that notion... I am not anti-JLA... but if they gear this for 2011/2012, when will they be able to fit in BB3? 2014? 2015? Caine will die by then and Oldman will retire... the third installment will be all but cooked... lets just hope TDK owns the Box office.

Yeah.

Get's my wondering. Have they already started on a third script? Wondering. Grr. Hate it when actors make these comments and then leave you guessing for nine months.

they will have a story mapped out, but at this time all focus by the director will be on The Dark knight.

:wow: That's a bit extreme, but yea I totally understand where you are coming from and I feel the same way. Thanks a lot Singer!!! :cmad::(

Wait a minute they made a White Noise 2? The first one was ass:down

If that is indeed true, that actor should have been put back to the bottom of the B movie list that they pulled him from.

Anyways, I doubt if anyone associated with TDK will come out and say it sucks, not matter if it does or not.

This thread title is killing me. HAHAHAHAHA.

I wouldn´t be worried, if TDK is a hit - and all indicates it will be - they will want to do a sequel with Nolan, no doubt, especially if they leave an exciting cliffhanger. I remember Goyer said in an interview that they had a basic "roadmap" for three or four movies. Unlike other franchises, they´re not making it up as they go along.

That's a bit harsh. Making things up as you go along would imply it's half-assed, and things are constantly revised in the middle of production. Asides from SM3, I'd say the SM franchise is far from that, as it's more of focusing on one movie at a time, and only coming back if they're got a good story to tell.

You're gay and have girlie hand-writing. GTFO.

I wasn´t referring specifically to the SM franchise, but that´s sort of a common practice in sequels. I think knowing where you wanna get to facilitates to make the whole franchise feel focused and consistent.
