Fantasy Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey

I'm not sure whether to believe this or not, but that's super intriguing if so. Even if it's a vampire movie I have to imagine there will be some sort of higher concept at play to make it a "Nolanized" take on vampires, and I have not the slightest idea of what that could be.

That doesn't sound like a Nolan project to be honest. Doing all of a sudden both horror and fantasy for the first time and at a time where there's a high profile film with the same concept and setting coming next year? Nah, this can't be it.
What does the same concept mean? That both will have vampires in them? I'm afraid there's no monopoly on the genre, and both being period pieces says little to suggest they will be in any way similar.

Holland needs a good role outside of Spider-Man. He's a fantastic actor, but he just needs a critical hit outside of Marvel stuff.
He played a bottom for an indie film and Nathan Drake what more do you want?

I hope every rumour is true and it's a thriller about a vampire helicopter pilot in a retro 1920s-looking future.
I think they call it Art Deco. Think the Timmverse.

Well his idols came and made Alien and The Shining, so we expect something in that vein.

Speaking of Alien…

Well, Tenet didn’t turn out so well for, WB, Barely scratched Nolan’s rep, though.

Universal and Vampires...would Nolan dare give me my classic Dracula adaptation? I'm already fancasting. 1920s doesn't quite match the setting but there's always hope.

I just hope Damon doesn’t attempt an English accent again, or whatever the hell he was doing in Brothers Grimm or that Great Wall movie. Just play an American.

It’s funny. I feel like I’ve been waiting for a good Dracula movie for 30 years and we finally have one coming, except it’s technically a Dracula knockoff.

Nosferatu, fam.
Classic Nosferatu is special, and I am looking forward to the updated version, but it isn't the book.

Coppola's Dracula was the closest adaptation we've got for me, where Quincey, Seward, Harker, Lucy, Mina and Holmwood all got their due and more. I'd love to see someone build on that, and it's likely Nolan isn't going to do it, but I still have hope.

I like to think of myself as an open-minded guy... but Airwolf starring Damon and Holland is a tough sell to me. :o

Eh, this castings is just a meh bland to me. Bald Nolan could literally change the life of an unknown/below the radar type actors and he goes with the same wonder bread. Can’t wait for the great female roles tho!

So just IMAX equipment that's been in storage somewhere and hasn't been used yet? :o
