My 4th watch of this superb movie. Wow the cinematography is just brilliant. The look of every scene is like a painting. So much work was put into this movie, and love!

I do not agree that it was expected. If one gets both ASC and BAFTA nominations it has a HUGE chance at the Oscar nom.

This year the Academy totally snubbed blockbusters in the category. Batman, Top Gun and Avatar. They went all with the indie route.
