BvS Batman/Superman Movie - Cinematography?

We are not only talking about MOS, but also Watchmen, or 300. If you find none of those impressive, give me one example of a movie you find impressive visually (from a cinematography standpoint, no CG or else)

All those movies looked great but it diminishes the achievement when the scenes are lifted one by one from the comics.

Ok, the extreme reference you used is never implied in what I said. Why does it have to be either a) clown colors; or b) gray passing for yellow, red looking like dirty pink and the darkest shade of rubbery blue the character's ever been depicted in? Lots of hues in between. I known these specifics pertain to the costume, but cinematographers and costume designers do work closely together. Would a lighter palette be out of place for a character who's known for his three colors?
