I sat in my friend Todd's apartment and zoned out watching the Trachyphillia brain coral feed on eyedroppers full of zooplankton concentrate in his salt water aquarium for about ten minutes straight. It rocked.


Speaking of circles, I discovered that one of the seniors at my school has ringworm. Ew!

Sounds flippin' trippppy. How does it eat though? I googlied it and it looks like a plant. And blah, fungus things. blah. fungus.

See that slit in the center? That's it's mouth. When the coral polyps detect food nearby they will puff up and open their mouths. Tentacles will extend from inside and will catch zooplankton with stinging cells in their tissue. It's so rad to watch!
