Marvel pulped a Funko ad for an alleged spoiler involving Gray Hulk (presumably before they scrapped his appearance) in Age of Ultron.

If they were making a toy of War Machine's death, they wouldn't be publicly promoting it five months before the movie is out. Come on now, people.

The characters have more visual differences this time, so it'll be harder to pull that. Iron Man's main armor in AOU was literally a repaint of his Iron Man 3 costume.

Unless you're Captain America or Vision, obviously.

BUT they never actually said anything about his death occurring. Right now, I am just using reasoning: he is the only hero in the Minimate toyline with a battle-damaged version and he is shown to be gravely injured in the trailer with Tony standing above his body in despair.

You just answered/solved your own riddle there. There's a "battle damaged War Machine" toy because as you just mentioned, there's a prominent scene where his armor is damaged.

I'll be skipping Iron Man, War Machine and Cap since I already have enough of those to last a lifetime. My main interest is if the poster is accurate and we're getting Black Panther, Bucky, and the others.

I might get Black Widow if they make one. I prefer her CW look to her Age of Ultron costume.
