So did I, but when I found out that both Pirates 3 and Shrek 3 are coming out two weeks after SM3. I thought, Venom is needed now, not in SM5 or SM4, he can't wait, not for a minute with these mega-movies so close.

Nah, this was a case of premature ejacu-Venom. Sony and Avi couldn't hold their load.
 
I think they made the right decision. Besides, I want to see Goblin/symbiote Spidey/Sandman more than Venom. So, I say, threat him like the comics do, ****e him out and make some big bucks, so we can get back to the classic villains in SM4. However, I think the majority is going to be entertained by all of the villains, including Venom, no matter how much time he has on screen.
 
I would love to see a Lizard and Doc Ok cliffhanger. Molina has an option for SM3 and SM4. We sure as hell no that it won't be SM3.

maybe ock will return in spidey4 and molina would defenitley have to play him becaus he has ocks attitude which is a great thing. have the lizard be one of the villians to of course and have dylan baker continue playing the lizard. or instead of dock ock they can put mysterio as a villian.

well then either electro or scorpian. lizard is wanted in a spidey movie by us fans so i think he should be in the movie. it would be interesting to see electro. there would have to be cgi involved with him. scorpian would be cool to see to. chameleon would be cool to see. i just wonder who could play the chameleon.

THE LIZARD (main villain) and ELECTRO (secondary/seperate story)...featuring KRAVEN THE HUNTER (hunting Spidey or/and The Lizard). Using 'Kraven's Last Hunt' as a blueprint for Spider-Man 4.

Well, I didn't know that POTC3 had anything to do with POTC2, really... i'm not sure many did...

... until they saw the 2nd one in theaters...

so really, who knows? Sony could be holding out on us, they could be secretly making a 4th one that ties in with 3. and they're just lying about 3 being a finally for everyone...

... it's Hollywood, kid. :cwink:

... then again... the thing about them already making a 4 right now, is VERY HIGHLY unlikely... but hey, you never know these days... :oldrazz:
 
Some where earlier on these forums some one had a cool idea to show that Ock is still alive.

Be on a giant cargo ship or a fishing boat or something, and some person goes down into the cargo hold and the ship mate hears something and goes deeper into the darkness, as he turns the corner you just see a shadow standing there. Then four red lights blink on and we see the tenacles quickly shoot out into the light grabbing the guy. I think it would be a kinda cool thing.
 
jjj has had enough of spidey so he contacted i scientist that the bugle had run an article on regarding his experimental exo skeleton he also contacts a pi he'd hired to follow pete but had failed jameson hire the pi to pilot the exo skeleton and at that point he has to

"make way for the SCORPION"

Firstly, SCORPION.
In response to the cliffhanger speculation...I doubt there will be any kind of cliffhanger at the end. I have a feeling that after being kidnapped and thrust into the middle of a fight for the THIRD time, MJ will leave Peter, deciding that life is most certainly not for her. That's kind of a cliffhanger...not knowing if MJ will appear in another film. I think they will kill Brock, there's no sense in hinting at Ock's survival since he redeemed himself at the end of 2(it'd be as lame a retcon as Sandman killing Ben), and Harry's dead...the Norman visions being in his mind, the original Goblin dies with him. I doubt Raimi'd go with bringing villains back to life. If anything, I'd put my money on a cliffhanger involving the Lizard. Maybe a shot of Connors successfully regenerating his arm and suddenly he collapses, begins to transform, fade to black, then to the resolution like in SM2 after Harry's revelation.
 
wouldn't it be c00l if they did a flashback at the very end... maybe AFTER the credits, of Ock floating in the water (seen at the end of SM2) and then have an extended addition to the scene, where we see the tenticals come back on, and then we see a tentical come out of the water and quickly grasp the side of the peir. then cut it out to the black screen... then the end...

have this after the credits... so it'll be a secret hype thing to get people to stay longer... :P

spidey will have defeated venom.. he will end up with mj.. he gets back to their place but the house is a mess... he realizes his spider-sense didn't go off and figures venom is back.. a figure is seen in the darkness of his home and it leaps out the window... he chases it... the figure is just as agile as him. he is just able to web him up and catch up to him. the figure is wearing a black costume (not a psider-man costume.. more like the wrestling costume) he breaks free of the webbing to spidey's surprise. and suddenly ties up spidey with his own webbing. spider-man is trapped. the figure unmasks him peter turns trying to hide his face but to his surprise the figure is taken a back and says "no.... it can't be" Spider-man is confused and says "who are you!?"

the figure takes off his mask and we see he looks exactly like peter parker but deformed on one side of his face (much like the phantom of the opera)

DUM DUM DUM!

and I do mean dum-b :P lol
