It's quite "possible" that the info we heard is correct. That also could mean this is Singer's last Superman film in MOS. After JL 2010, if there is a new Superman cast for it, if we are to see another Superman film it won't have anything to do with the SR franchise :o

I have been saying for a long while that MOS is going to be the last in this story arc, and if JLA is indeed coming out after this, it's a different version of Superman.

:super: Fans of the Man of Steel, these are indeed, exciting times. News on the progression of the sequel to “Superman Returns” are beginning to filter out of the vault, also known as, Warner Brothers. Rest assured, the sequel is on track for a 2009 release. However, due to mounting questions about this article, let me clarify one item that appear to be misconstrued by some of the readers, due to no fault of their own.

Fact: There are on going discussions about linking the propose JLA project to the “Superman Returns” sequel, being directed by Bryan Singer. VillainWatch were under the impression that Mike Dougherty and Warner Brothers would be confirming the sequel, at the 2007 Comic Con in San Diego; with the big news being, its linkage to JLA. That announcement maybe still yet to come, but information to the such, has already started to leak out, in one form or another. However to clarify, it’s just what it is, a link…. nothing more than that.

Both Superman: Man of Steel and the JLA project are being treated as separate entities. By no means, did we intend to give the impression that JLA will relate directly to the Superman sequel. It is our understanding that the linkage is a result of this undisclosed draft, that seem to be floating around the halls at Warner Brothers, and an ending cliffhanger involving a major super villain, who story is then develop and play out in the proposed JLA project. JLA is preliminary being slated for 2010.

Dude what is it with you and this "villain" trip you are on? Is that your alias and you just keep bumping it

I am still hoping Routh can be Supes for JLA on a side note does anyone else think that the reason why Jason will not be in the third Superman film because it will be a JLA movie with Routh as Superman either way I hope Jason does not get "snuffed out" :csad:

Is that rumour really true though? 'Cos it might not be.

Personally I'm fine with that to be honest. I think with a 3 hour first movie and if MOS runs 2:45 or so it would wrap things up nicely and a 3rd wouldn't be needed to tie up loose ends. I think not doing MOS first would be a mistake. It would also mean JL is a rushed product. How can we realistically look at 2009 for JL with no producers, actors cast, official script, oh the greenlight...heading into 2008 almost??? 2010 seems to make more sense. Just finish up with MOS first, it's production should move a long faster and definitely be ready for 2009.

People are still debating if that means he is killed or not. They are just saying whatever happens he won't appear in a 3rd SR movie. Maybe that has something to do with the franchise ending and JL taking over for all we know which may have a totally different Superman / backstory with it

Exactly.....and news on this has been leaking....i think Villain has some inside info.

Through him...

LATINO REVIEW
AICN

News on this has been leaking without a doubt.

WB's,

Just do the SR sequel film and have the ending be a lead into the JLA film with George Miller directing.

JUST DO IT....and make the damn films EPIC!!
Isn't comic con over, and wasn't nothing that he said at all that would be said at it wasn't said at it?

What does CHUD stand for? I get it's probably a site of some sort.

Thanks again. I don't remember what claims s/he had as there's been a few.

That's about it:
http://chud.com/

But the thing I was pointing out was that nothing of what Villian said was confirmed at ComicCon like he was claiming it would.

I don't think was claiming anything would be announce. I think he said it hoped it would but more likely later in the year.

He said it numerous times that something would be announced at Comic Con, which I actually also heard as well. What happened in that regards, was that there wasn't the presence at Comic Con that there was originally supposed to be. Singer, Mike, and Dan.

is there any event coming up soon, or is there usually a time when these type of movies are announced? I remember you stating that they are currently working on concept art, filming on Valkryie is comencing and I would assume that by now WB and Legendary know what picture they are making.

Well there was originally talk that Valkeryie would get in the way, but now Valkeryie has been pushed up, so this changes things even more.

You might be right, I dunno.

That's what I was said.

Buggs said it stood for Corroded Human Underground Dwellers.

Does that mean it eats internet sites if it's cannibalistic? Or does it eat humans since it's humanoid? ;) :oldrazz:

I went to the CHUD site a few times.....they're too much like AICN....say "F" every other word.....no need for that.
