Dude Storm is gonna get her ego checked, she's not even gonna beable to beat Clor, who is probably nowhere near Thor's level, I'm gonna love it. She will put up a fight, but she will not win, Tony and Reed will probably have to stop him again before Clor kills her dumb ass. Storm is gonna throw everything she got at him, and it wont make a difference. If this fight goes the way I hope it will go...

Had the foolishness to wish for her to not win that fight on a Storm thread in the x-men forum. Let's just say Storm fanatics are quite touchy.

Apparently, getting owned by a clone of Thor - of all people! - would be a cruel injustice or something.

In addition to that the Pro Regs are supposedly training new heroes and naming them after gods who are probably still around and may not like their names being used for causes they don't support.

Thor IS vulnerable to the other weather effects, he's not proof against cold or scalding heat. Why would Clor be any better?

Actually Thor is totally invulnerbale to temperature extremes. He has waded through molten lava with no ill effect and has stood up to everything the Frost giants and cask of eternal winters can dish out.

In contest of Champions Storm hit him with cold effects and he laughed it off.

In secret wars when the great storm was going on and no one could dare to go outside because it was so strong the rain drops were like magnum slugs, Thor was standing outside grinning and reveling in it.

Anyway I don't care about this fight one way or another because I am not a fan of storm, clor is stupid, and Hudlin sucks.

I just wanted to clear up that Thor IS NOT vulnerable to weather effects of any kind.

Just that it seems to me that to creat Clor could be interpreted as a mortal insult to Thor; Thor being who he is, means such an insult to him could be an insult to all Asgardians. As such, and given these are warriors with warrior ethics, a war called against those who dared clone a God for their own ends would seem justified.

And Thor is nigh invulnerable to the weather so why would not his clone be as well if the invulnerability is physiological?

Well a writer can basically do it the way he sees fits and given she does land a spot on the ff4, I would think she does somehow win when I believe she is overmatched.

The weird thing is, this type of battle, should have one guy who is faster (Asgardian with superhuman speed), stronger (and the difference is enormous), and more invulénerable be able to attack her beofre she mounts an attack and easily put her out. The speed being the major trump factor.

Anyways, I do not really care and I just hope Thor finally makes it back.

And keep in mind I don't hate the characters. They just have no f****n business being that potent. There really should be limits to a writer's hard-on for fetish characters.

I just dont se a Thor starting a war because of it, I think it's more likely that he would just fight Clor one on one, and then be on bad terms with the people that created him.
