5'10 is in no way short, and believe me, I know short (I'm 5'6 myself) When Farrell was announced I was hoping it'd be a LotR/Hobbit situation where they make a taller actor shorter in the movie but that doesn't look to be the case. Just a personal preference but I can't stand the Telltale Penguin, which it looks like that is the inspiration for this version. It's the first truly disappointing thing about this movie so far imo.

We don’t know anything so it shouldn’t be disappointing. People see an extra walking around and they jump to conclusions.

Robin did a good job portraying a young Penguin which is what he was. Cocky, arrogant and kinda crazy. Only when he got older did he realize he needed to tone his **** down and do all his raging behind the scenes.

I liked Telltale Penguin. Put a gun to my head and I’ll say I prefer the traditionally chubby, aristocratic interpretation, but I think both versions work and are equally valid. Of course, I don’t think anyone will ever take DeVito’s place as the absolute best version of the character in my head (I know that’s controversial, but entertainment value + nostalgia = yeah), so it’s almost a moot point for me as long as the character is written well.

My problem with Telltale Penguin was moreso that he felt more like Hush and Anarky rolled into one than the Penguin.

So if the characterization was good, I guess the chubbiness doesn't really matter as much.
