Colin Farrell IS The Penguin

I feel the facial hair is a bit much because it makes him look waaay too much like Guy Fieri. But in the other hand, it also helps to ruin Farrell's typical good looks tho that can be compensated with a nose prosthetic. I'd have to see him in a suit and now whether or not he has the monocle to be sure.

Put him in a tux or tailcoat and he will be fine. The pudge really helps make Colin look stockier and shorter. For all we know, they are planning adding a nose prosthetic to give him a bit of beal. Farrell resembles the Penguin more than Ledger did the comic book Joker (when out of makeup).

How ? I dont think he looks anything like The Penguin. With the exception of Kravitz and maybe Dano, most of the cast do not look like the Comic Book versions at all. This doesnt mean they will suck in the Movie, but in Still curious, how does Farrel look anything like Penguin?

In talking weight Wise. And how does pattinson not look like bruce? He resembles Jim lees Batman and even a bit of the Bruce from earth one.

I think Pattinson has an acceptable "Bruce Wayne"-ish look about him, or at least can have one. But yea, I don't think Farrell looks anything like Penguin, chubby or not.

Honestly that's part of why I'm excited about Farrell's casting. Makes me hopeful that he and Reeves are going for something new with the character.

This. Farrell is an amazing actor, so I cant wait to see what Reeves has planned for him in terms of Penguins look, characterisation etc.

I cant see any resemblance to Jim Lee Batman with Pattinson. Possibly a little bit to Earth One version so I can give you a half a point there.

More than a little IMO:

While not a spot on match, there are a lot of similarities between Pattinson and how Adams drew Bruce Wayne: the arched eyebrows, pointed nose, sharp pointed jaw (rather square and Superman-esque like too many artists do), the sharp cheekbones and sunken cheeks. I've always loved how Adams drew Bruce because he takes real effort to make him look different than Clark Kent. Aparo, Jim Lee, etc. all draw Bruce's facial features too similar to Supes for my taste.

It's not like half the other actors especially looked like any comic iteration of Bruce Wayne. He's been played by various actors who don't look anything alike.

Pattinson, looks-wise, is fine, I just wish he was a little more robust.

He looks a lot like Capullo’s Bruce to me too. Especially young Bruce from Zero Year.
