it's funny you point those things out about new school art... and they're true things. i didn't catch a lot of it before and maybe it's because i don't read a wide enough variety of comments.

I like the costume you gave powergirl myself, but you gave her a head that looks like she's on her way to pick up the kids from a soccer game and then you gave her a rack that makes her look like a porn star. Smaller boobs than those are sexy too Those are my PG criticisms. Other than that I really like your style.

Thanks for the comments. I guess I would say my Batman is a little Neal Adams, a little Byrne, a little Buscema. I'll post the bigger image so you can judge for yourself. As for Powergirl, is it the perspective or just the way she's drawn?

I think that's it. Her upper body looks as if you are looking at her straight on while her lower portion is more of a bird's I feel. It looks a little odd.

the rest of your work looks amazing though, and it is good to see some old school work.

This is a Batmobile concept I did to see if I may be able to get some work doing some design work on the Batmobile cars. This is just a batmobile I made up, but I was trying to see if I could do a car good enough. (first time I ever tried) Please let me know your thoughts. I penciled it and then colored it digitially.

That looks good Mark. I really like the steering wheel. Is the design based off of the new Nissan 350Z? Kinda looks like it in the rear.

Actually I didn't base it off of any real cars. When I layed it out I tried to keep in mind the old Super Powers batmobile and the batmobile from the first Batman movie. I did see a picture of a prototype concept pontiac firebird from the 50's that had the turbins up front like this before, so I thought I would use that.

Now that is amazing. I love the style and the colors of the car. I could see any Batman in there, great job Mark and you penciles and colored perfectly IMO.

Awesome batmobile. I'm not really getting the turbine-ish things in front though. They look kind of weird and I don't really get the functon either as the seem to head right to the wheel well. Maybe I'm misinterpreting what they are. Could you clarify that?

Great drawing, ive just always thought batman needed a much more brutal looking car to make people crap their pants. So its more function over style. But as I say, fantastic drawing. I cant draw cars to save my life.

Your pencils always blow me away.... but your colouring....im sorry to say is a bit meh. The batmobile is a big improvement though.
