I don't know if any of you lot actually print anything or if you go any further than hosting it on photobucket. But I'm looking to place to get my comics printed. So far I've been referred to comiXpress.com and ka-blam.com.

Anybody have experience with either place? Anything good/bad to say about them? Any other ideas?

PS Mods if this'll get more answers in some other section of the hype I don't know about, please move :)

There's always Kinkos, but from my experiance with them, they're not all that great. My prints didn't come out too hot.

I work at a print shop, actually. I'm not sure if printing with us would work for you or not, but I guess it couldn't hurt if I ask you some questions...

Are you looking to do it in the standard comic size?

Will it be in full color?

Are you okay with a decent, but not great, 20# Bond paper to print on (for cheaper purposes, obviously)?

How many pages are we working with?

I may even be able to get a price per book for you after some of these specifications.

lol, unfortunately, I don't have my pricing cheat sheet on me at home, so I'll have to get back to this monday evening with an estimate-per-book.

Do you have an idea of how many you'd be running? Because there'd be price breaks with higher quantities.
