They'd be being exploited for commercial and financial gain, but it's okay because they'd get a free meal? Is that it?

Fortunately I was joking. Unfortunately ESPN would probably cover this if it were to be real.

I'd love to give a try at an eating contest. And if you watch some of these eating contests...a lot of the competitors are not 400 lb grotesque fatties but normal looking people.

I wouldn't really look at it as expoilting. The winner would get prize money, & all competitors would be able to take all the left overs with them.

It would be just like a regular competition. But only the less fortunate can enter.

If the contest was for ribs and if it was free to enter than hell yeah.
I wouldn't eat quick though I just want to enojy the ribs.

WING BOWL is next friday!

But i could never eat that much. I dont know how they do it.

I'd do it. I love food. I can eat pretty fast too (Though, not nearly as fast as the real competitors can.). I can't fit that much in my stomach, though. Still, I'd like to try it at least once.

nope-infact im perfectly fine,no high blood pressure, not vitamen defs and nothing out of the ordinary.i take care of myself and im very careful about my diet.

That's becasue of the "training" they do. They eat large amounts, and large things, quickly in there day to day lives, and then go to the gym and just work out for hours. So not only are they wasting food in these sick competitions, there training consists of wasting a bunch of food, and then burning all the calories off in the gym.

not true at all.

Competitive Easting is pretty crazy. It's funny how much they have to train to do what they do.

I would do competitive eating if it was something sweet, I think I would die if it was something like hot dogs though. I'd choke for sure.

I would try it once, just for s**ts and giggles. No real interest in it other then that.

The solution is right in front of you. Just hold eating contests for homeless people, that way they are fed without feeling they are getting handouts and have a chance to win a prize. Everybody wins. :cwink:

That's...actually not a bad idea.
