Last week, I was turning on my comp. When it was time to click to my desktop, I clicked it and then in a few seconds it gave me this blue screen with all sorts of letters and numbers. There's a timer that it has and when it hits 100, that's when it leads me back to clicking a desktop account. It's a real b**tch to get on the internet now. The whole thing took away my wallpaper of these hot models. :cmad: I lost all my porn. :cmad: And it takes me forver to get online, cause that blue screen comes on everytime I click AOL. :cmad: Can anyone please help me? Anyone who knows how to fix this please tell. I really want my comp the way it was. :cmad:

Thanks. :cmad:

(As you can see, I'm really ticked off by this.)

You get the Blue Screen Of Death every time you try to run AOL? Call AOL tech support. It's a problem with their software, most likely. Either that or you got a virus of some sort. Or both. AOL IS a virus, so I'm right either way.

Well, it varies. I get it when my desktop is loading,or when I click to sign into AOL. Are you there's no other way to maybe fix the problem instead of calling AOL tech support?

When was the last time you ran a virus scanner? I'm suspicious that you've either got a virus/malware/worm/trojan, you've got a corrupted .dll somewhere or there's something wrong with your AOL install.

About a month ago I did a virus scan. Cause last week is when this problem started happening. I'll call AOL service tomorrow. The problem I also have, is that since I get that blue screen, and it's a pain to get to my desktop at times, I leave my comp on to where I just have to sign into AOL.

GayOL haha, i had that back in 98 was **** then as well :) had it for a week and then wiped my harddrive cause it had taken over my pc!

So then there's no way to fix the problem? I called AOL service and tries to explain what was happening. I said that I leave my comp on to sign into AOL easliy. They said if I keep getting the blue screen, my comp might crash?! IS this true? Godammit, wtf happened to my comp? :cmad:

Blue screens are never good, if you get them it means something is pretty much fooked. I say update your virus scanner and scan again, and try another scanner if you want to be doubly sure.

Alright, I will. Right after I'm done with my internet time. Then, it's back to trying to fix this damn thing. Once I do that, it might be a big problem to try and get back on the internet again.

I agree completely. My old desktop used to have AOL. Once we got Comcast high-speed, I took it off immediately, along with Norton. It ran SO much better.

Hey! nothing wrong with Norton :p

Norton took up a ****load of my HD. I got rid of that, downloaded AVG AntiVirus and it worked so much better.

Definitely try updating your virus scanner to see where it gets you.
