I thought I would start a thread about this because I'm genuinely interested in what people's opinions are about this, especially on a comic book forum.
So, what do people think? Should there be a new version of the Comics Code Authority when it comes to creating content in movies, stories, comics, etc
Or
Do we allow all content and let the market decide if it becomes popular
Or
Somewhere in the middle
Some things to consider:
1. How impressionable human beings are and if reading about or watching content that depicts a toxic relationship (for example) should be allowed;
2. Writing about or drawing taboo subjects like incest or child pornography;
3. Hate speech and if advocating for violence against real people (like Jewish people for instance) and advocating violence against fake people (like Elves for example) is the same and should be regulated.
