Arrow Continuity Question from Season 3

I just started season 3 on Netflix. I'm half way through it.

QUESTION: In the beginning after Sara was killed, Nyssa begs Ra Gul to avenger he death, but he tells her she was not a true member of the league and dismissed it.

Later however, he threatens to start killing people unless Oliver kills Sara's killer who they believe to be Malcolm. Why the change of heart?

Did I miss something?

You missed nothing that was explained in the show. We can speculate (either Ra's changed his mind or Ra's was just using it as a pretext), but the writers offered no additional information.

Thanks for the response. I thought my mind wandered there for a bit.

If Ra had something to do with Sara's murder, which I suspect he did, it also wouldn't make sense for him to threaten Oliver this way, unless he's trying to pin it on Malcolm to throw himself off the track.

Guess I'll have to keep watching and find out.
