Ugh, ... I absolutely hate having to tote my own writing, but seeing as how I need an audience for this project to work, I guess I'm forced to.
I'm trying to write a novel, and I'm not entirely sure what kind yet. It's shaping up to be YA affair so far, and that's probably what I'm the most comfortable with. The thing is, I would like input as I go, and I'd like to mold the book around the audience and their suggestions for characters that they'd want to see more of, what they think should happen next, what needs to be toned down or brought more to the forefront, etc. But, like I said, in order to do so, I need an audience and right now I've got none.
So, if you're not doing anything for about twenty minutes (so far I think it comes out to around 7 pages in MS Word), I'd appreciate it if you'd read what's there, and comment on it. Either in the thread or the blog, but I'd prefer the blog so I can keep all the comments in one place in case I need them later.
Once I establish some readers, I'll try and update more frequently.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but it's not a fanfic by any stretch of the imagination and there isn't really a literary section to these boards.
Happy reading.
