- are you a girl and like comics? Yus
- if so why do you think that is? Probably because my brother introduced them to me at an early age. He was 10 years older than me so, I worshiped him (kinda still do.) He's got a completely separate room and alarm system in his house now for all this comics. It's pretty ridiculous.
- what your favourite comic? Batman with Joker arcs. That's what I was started on and stayed with consistently.
- what do you think of the representation of women in comics? Honestly I don't really pay them much attention. The only women I ever like in comics are the villains. The others are boring. -totally sexist-
- is sexism an issue? Most of the times guys don't usually think I know what I'm talking about or I'm grouped with fan girls and only like stuff because of movies if they didn't know me prior to a release.
- should there be more titles for women? Meh. Like I said, I don't really care. The only series I've ever collected surrounding a female as the lead is Harley Quinn. Yeah. Major fail.
- boys what do you think of the stereotype that boys only like comics? They DO make up a large percentage of fans.
- Do you think male superheroes overpower the female ones? if so how? if not why? Like physically and mentally or that they're comics trump the heroin's comics? If it's the former - really it varies from series to series. If it's the later, in my opinion: hell yeah. The men dominate. Maybe it's because most girls annoy me in daily interactions, so I project their annoying tendancy's in to my comics. Who the hell knows.
- Also, with more and more superhero movies coming out, and more titles being bought out such as Minx by DC, how much do YOU think the female audience will expand? is this a good thing? I think if you put a sexually desirable man on screen as any character, a girl's going to claim she's a fan and maybe that'll get her to break deeper in to awesome picture books. I dunno. Not everyone has someone to turn them on to awesome things, so Hollywood's making it fair. It's going to make it a lot harder for me to find my black knight in nerdy armor though, so I'm on the fence.
