Transformers Could the movie designs have a future in animation?

I think if they were slightly simplified, the movie designs would rock in a Saturday morning cartoon show. simplifying the "kibble" wiring by blacking the innards out except for a few wires would probably do it... something like this:

Anyone else interested in seeing the movie characters developed into a cartoon? I'm pretty sure Bay, Murphy, and Hasbro take peeks in here from time to time, so who knows, if the demand is high, it might happen!

You could just post the pics from the coloring books.. those are simplified.
