I confess I didn't really like the Music in Transformers: Movie cartoon version. IMO, there was TOO much singing music, very distracting. The kind of music DIDN'T Mix very well with an Action-pack cartoon like Transformers, IMO

Maybe it's my Music taste, I am more into R&B/Hip-hop but I do enjoy a lot of Rock music like Guns N Roses 'You could be mine' for T2, or Dashboard confessional's 'Vindicated' for Spider-Man 2, or 'Everything burns' for 'Fantastic 4', etc I LOVE those. Faith Hill's and Aerosmith's songs for Michael Bay prior movies(Pearl Harbor and Armageddon) are also great IMO. I like those.

But, I ain't really want to hear no vocal Music (No matter what Genre) All the time like that cartoon does, it was SO Annoying if that music is not your type!

I think a Love Rock song would be fine when Megan and Shia have a Love scene together or something(Flirting/Kiss), or a GOOD Rock song or hell even a nice Remix of Transformers Theme music would be fine at certain parts, but I certainly would NOT like music thruout the movie like the Cartoon did.

What it should have in most scenes is just Orchestra music. The singing (unless it's orchestra like 'Duel Of The Fates') should be kept to Minimum and left for Credits.

If you didn't like the Touch, Dare you are no Transformers fan.

Joke obviously :)

The majority of the film will be score, but there will also be moments that require rock music as well. I mean, these are cars we're talking about and cars have a little thing called the radio. In early scenes it would seem somewhat unnatural if the radio wasn't playing.

But, other than that- we've got Jablonsky's score for the film that will be the primary source for music.
