Superman Returns Could this alternative opening help the movie?

I love this movie..but would this opening help OTHERS understand SR along with the RTK sequence..would this have made it a better movie?

It would be impossible for that to be the opening credits though, as it tells the whole story of the movie, i enjoyed the first minute or so though.
