I can't believe there have been 50. The list aside, that's pretty cool.

ETA: I think it's better to figure out if it's broadly right rather than the specifics. For example, most people tend to think the first ASM is better than the second, but they're both ranked roughly around the same area and I think that's fair. I don't know anyone else who thinks Elektra is better than Daredevil, though, so that one is a pretty big disagreement.

ETA2: I think the original X-Men should be a bit higher, although maybe it gets points for essentially launching the modern superhero movie craze (certainly the movie's lack of budget is a pretty big issue). Definitely better than Spider-Man 3, although I agree that the good parts of the movie do deserve credit in spite of its flaws.

That list is shocking, IM 3 about the first movie? The 2004 Punisher movie being the lowest rated of the 3 when it is generally considered the best? And Elektra being above both ASM movies? Please.

Yeah, I didn't even bother once I saw XO:W and Elektra ahead of TASM1. I knew I was heading into Raimi-fanboy BS. No thank you.

Iron man 3 is absolutely awful. That being top 10 is a freaking joke

I strongly disagree with a lot of that list. Ghost Rider 2 at #17(!), being placed above X-Men, Iron Man 2, and TASM is the biggest eyebrow raiser for me.

X-Men Origins, Punisher: War Zone, Punisher '89, and Spider-Man 3 are also all ranked far too high.

It's not that hard to do this list.

There's essentially 5 tiers.

Great
Winter Soldier, Spider-Man 2, DOFP, GOTG, Iron Man, The Avengers, X-2

Good
Age of Ultron, Captain America: The First Avenger, Thor, X-Men, X-Men First Class, Iron Man 3, The Wolverine, Spider-Man

Average
Thor: The Dark World The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man 3, Iron Man 2, The Incredible Hulk, Blade 2, Hulk, Blade

Fair
The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Punisher, Punisher: War Zone, X-3

Poor
X:Men: Wolverine Origins, FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer, Elektra, Blade Trinity, Ghost Rider, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

I know everyone is going to have favorites, but I don't think I'm far too off the general consensus at least the geek one.

This list is very spot on. I'd just put AoU in the great category, but beyond that I can't argue with any choices.

I think a few of them can be argued up or down a notch.

^ Yeah, there are a couple on the bubble either way, but no list will be free of disagreement.

Well, they cheat kinda by including TV stuff.

They also have a Dr. Strange movie that technically isn't a Dr. Strange movie. Still, if there's nothing else that could count they're ignoring, it's still nice that Age of Ultron is exactly 50. I'd be curious to see what the number is without TV movies, though, just for clarity.

That's a decent list Erzengel, with like you said a few going up or down just a tier and not really further

I count 39 theatrically released movies since Howard the Duck in the 80's(I believe that was their 1st one. I'm not counting the old Captain America serials). That's only movies released in theaters so no Dolph Lundgren Punisher in that number. That was DtV.

This is my list. Age of Ultron would have made Tier 1 if Black Widow didn't seem OOC to me compared to her last three appearances. I feel like Iron Man 2 and the first X-Men get too much flack. I also feel like Thor: The Dark World should be put in its own tier. I personally didn't like it but it's far better than Fox or Sony's worst. Marvel Studios don't make bad films. They have a certain level of quality control when it comes to their choice of directors and editors.

Fox is really hit or miss with me. Either they knock it out of the park or they wind up making me facedesk.

Sony mostly strikes out with me. They just got lucky with the first two Spider-Man films. It's why I'm not sure if I approve of Sony having creative control over the spin-offs.

omg they have The Wolverine rated higher than The Avengers: Age of Ultron, this list hurts my head so much.

just awful list. I only began to get really annoyed though when Blade was so far down the list. After that stuff really started to go yo hell.

Certainly not the worst list I've ever seen, but putting the crashingly mediocre Wolverine (which might be the most forgettable movie I've ever seen) above AoU is laughable.

I still rank Blade as one of Marvel's best movies.

I'm not sure why critics and many fans consider it average or bad.
