So, I came across this list on CraveOnline and I thought it would make for some interesting discussion. (How did Ghost Rider 2 get ranked so high?!)

It's a mixed list. They get some stuff right, others wrong.

Yeah, I didn't even bother once I saw XO:W and Elektra ahead of TASM1. I knew I was heading into Raimi-fanboy BS. No thank you.

I'd put both in front of TASM1 too.

I'd still put TASM1 out ahead of ANY other non-MCU Marvel film(though not by much...I mean we're talking fractions of a point here). It lacks the annoying variety of cheese of the Raimi films that I despise, it doesn't have the middle finger to comics continuty nor the message mongering of the FOX X-Men franchise and doesn't have the slavish devotion to all the Matrix-y style of the Blade franchise. And those are the only 3(outside-Marvel Studios) Marvel properties that have had any real success in both the critical and financial areas simultaneously. Now TASM2 is a piece of crap, though no more so than near misses like The Wolverine or Kick-Ass2 or TDKR or MoS. There's some decent stuff in there but just not enough when balanced against the poorly done things.

Well it's impossible to get an opinion right or wrong. That's the beauty of them.
