• Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version.

DC Animation Creature Commandos - Animated Series

I just watched the trailer earlier. Kind of "meh" currently but I'll stive give it a chance. I do have to say, I find it odd considering my love of Super Hero and Horror/Monsters. You would think I'd be highly interested. But... again... I'll at least give it a chance.

If I was Flag Sr., I would want nothing to do with Waller other than wanting to see her in jail or get the death penalty.

That Kevin Maguire JLI cover is killer.

I’m really eager to hear any Batman references on account of Doctor Phosphorus.

Did he get injured during Peacemaker or something?

Been too long, I might be due for a rewatch. Great design, though.

I'm pretty sure that's Rupert Thorne around the 45-second mark.

I thought so too. Seems noteworthy that both he and Phosphorus were introduced at the same time in the comics, though I’m not up to speed enough on that era to know if Thorne factored into his origin.

I'm not 100% sure about that part, myself, but here's an excerpt from a Dr. Phosphorus Wikipedia article that cites Jeff Rovin's The Encyclopedia of Supervillains:
Alexander Sartorius [Phosphorus] was a member of the Tobacconists' Club who wanted to build a nuclear power plant in Gotham City with help from chairman Rupert Thorne. However, he was forced to build elsewhere following public opposition and was transformed into a metahuman during a meltdown at the plant, gaining transparent, burning skin and the ability to generate harmful radiation.

I also suspect that he's being portrayed by Benjamin Byron Davis (pictured below in the bottom right corner).

I am going to give the show a try. Seems violent and graphic. Interesting choice to make to open up the DCU.

Crazy how much the dude looks like Thorne. Gotta drop him in live action at some point.
